Temporary Road Closure – Lighthouse Rd Corny Point

Effective Monday 23 August 2021 Lighthouse Road, Corny Point, between West Beach Road and just south of the Corny Point Lighthouse will be closed to traffic whilst roadworks are undertaken.

It is anticipated that the road will be closed for approximately two weeks, subject to weather conditions at the time whilst these essential works are completed. During this time access to the Corny Point Lighthouse will be via the eastern end of Lighthouse Road, from the Corny Point township.

N.B.: Caravans will not be able to access the Corny Point Lighthouse during this time, due to the inability to turn around at the lighthouse.

Council apologises for any inconvenience this temporary road closure may cause.
