Barossa photographic calendar comp goes social

Launched six years ago, the annual Barossa photographic calendar competition has become a staple for budding photographers across the region and beyond. Recognising the role social media plays across both tourism and art, the competition has this year shifted to submission via social media.

“We are keen to make the competition as accessible as possible and knowing the huge uptake of social media platforms in everyday life we felt it was time to take the competition into this space.

With so many stunning photo opportunities in the Barossa across a range of dimensions from food, wine, history, landscapes and culture, we are looking forward to seeing this captured through a variety of perspectives,” said Jo Seabook, Manager Tourism Services.

To enter simply take your photo, or choose one from your camera roll, upload to Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #2021BarossaCalendar and tag @mybarossa (photos must be high resolution 300dpi).

Entries close 5pm Thursday 4 September 2020. For more information, including terms and conditions, go to Barossa.com
