Barossa response - COVID-19

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is a constantly evolving situation and we will continue to keep the community updated in regards to its impact locally. Regular updates can be found on our facebook page 

As at the end of July, Council services and programs had resumed to pre-Covid service levels. For  information about specific services and programs please contact Customer Support on 8563 8444.

For specific information relating to confirmed COVID19 cases in the Barossa, local agencies have created a dedicated facebook page BarossaInformationUpdate  

The COVIDSafe app speeds up contacting people exposed to coronavirus (COVID-19) and helps to protect you, your friends and family. 

Rate relief options extended

Council has extended rate relief options for Barossa ratepayers impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. People who have become unemployed or experienced business failure or hardship can now apply to defer outstanding 2020-21 rates and charges until 31 January 2021, without any fines or charges. This also applies to other accrued years’ balances. Apply to defer rates online.
