Who makes a difference in your community? Nominations are now open for the 2019 awards.
Each year Council calls for nominations from individuals and organisations that have made a noteworthy contribution during the current year, and/or given outstanding service over a number of years, to a local community. The Awards are proudly presented by the Australia Day Council of South Australia and are administered by Local Government councils. Awards Nominations for the 2019 Awards are now open for the following: Australia Day Citizen To be eligible, the nominee must be an Australian Citizen. Australia Day Young Citizen To be eligible, the nominee must be an Australian Citizen and 30 years of age or less on 26 January 2019. Community Event of the Year Presented to the person or group who has staged the most outstanding community event during the past year.
