Council is calling for expressions of interest for a recyclable waste kerbside service

Posted: Wednesday, 1 August 2018

Barkly Regional Council is seeking expressions of interest for the provision of an environmentally responsible and economically viable kerbside service for the collection of Tennant Creek’s recyclable waste.

The service sought would also incorporate the processing of recyclable material to achieve the maximum possible diversion from the Tennant Creek landfill into an environmentally beneficial application.

Expressions of Interest should be marked: ‘Kerbside Domestic Waste’ and addressed to the Barkly Regional Council CEO Steve Moore. The document must be sent either by registered post to the Customer Service Section Counter, Barkly Regional Council, PO Box 821, Tennant Creek, NT, 0861, or hand-delivered to Council reception, 41 Peko Road.

Document to be lodged as 2 x paper copies (bound) and 2 x copies on USB or CD by 4pm (ACST) on Friday, 31 August 2018.

All enquiries to be directed to Elai Semisi, Director Infrastructure Services, on (08) 89621801 or email: [email protected]
