Leaving us in good shape

MacDonnell Shire CEO, Diane Hood resigned to take up a leadership position with the Northern Territory Government Department of Local Government. Diane leaves the MacDonnell Shire Council’s service after close to two years as Chief Executive Officer.

President Sid Anderson said “We are happy with Diane, she has done wonderful things for the MacDonnell Shire”.

During her time with the MacDonnell Shire, Diane had overseen significant governance and planning initiatives and witnessed the positive results brought by these improvements.

“I am confident that the Shire will continue on its stable footing, it has great Councillors and fantastic staff” Diane Hood said.
