悉尼市政府为环保项目推出专项拨款

悉尼市政府宣布了新一轮"环保功绩奖助金(environmental performance grants)"的拨款对象名单。入围者所涉及领域有:废弃服装和纺织品再利用、数字化回收、高层建筑绿化幕墙等36项在环保方面做出突出贡献的新方案,本轮拨款总价值逾$400,000。 一项利用分离技术分解废弃衣物和亚麻布料中的纤维,从而进行循环利用的科技荣获环保功绩奖助金拨款总值$45,000。 另一项在线平台为大众提供回收大件家具物品信息的一站式服务获得市政府拨款$50,000。 还有一项简化人力资源,扩大培育高层建筑绿化范围的绿色幕墙播种、除草、维护等多功能机械手臂(wall-bot)的研发获得市政府专项拨款总值$20,000。 多功能机器手臂将在悉尼科技大学(University of Technology Sydney)设立试点,由萨拉·威尔金森教授(Sara Wilkinson)和蒂姆·施柯克副教授(Tim Schork)联合主导研发,旨在克服绿色幕墙维护中出现的主要难题。 威尔金森教授说:"能着手为改善绿化开发实用技术让我感到十分兴奋和激动。" "维护高层建筑物的绿色幕墙是相当昂贵的,且存在人员作业的安全隐患。因此我们开始与建筑和机电工程方面的专家合作,研发可解决这些隐患和难题的机械手臂。" 新一轮环保功绩奖助金不但支持以上专业项目的开发,还会侧重建筑运营、评级、评估等方面,协助物业主为居民、企业乃至整个社会缔造和谐绿色生活。 市政府将通过环保功绩奖助金承诺价值$32,000的拨款,专门为悉尼市中心乔治街(George Street)上的三座备受瞩目的商业建筑进行节能效率审核,以在最大程度上减少其总能耗量。这三栋楼宇为:马丁广场(Martin Place)拱廊购物中心(The Strand Arcade)、维多利亚女皇大厦(Queen Victoria Building)以及The Galeries购物中心。 市长Clover Moore称,各大都市的温室气体排放量占全世界温室气体排放总量的75%至80%,因此为了有效应对气候变化,所有城市都应该行动起来,采取相应的措施。 她说:"通过这些专项拨款,我们可为在此安居的市民和商家企业优化环境,并为市区提升改造过程中所产生的一些挑战进行及时的处理和解决。" "市政府的环保功绩奖助金方案已成功为所需专项拨款四年多,承诺款项总额$160多万(1,600,000),以全心投入减排,并在应对气候变化方面推行实质措施。我为市政府能给新一轮入选环保项目的开发投入资金而感到无比自豪。" 环保功绩奖助金详情请查阅:cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au/community/grants-and-sponsorships 媒体信息或图片,请联系Roxanne Macara 电话0438 554 640或邮件[email protected] 采访市长Clover Moore, 请联系通讯负责人Julia Lenton 电话0410 748 039或邮件[email protected]
