Young families in Burnie will be delighted to know that the Burnie City Council will be presenting a spectacular Easter experience for the community on Saturday 16th April at the Burnie Arts & Function Centre.

The Happy Hoppy Easter Movie Eggstravaganza will run across the day with two separate session times providing families with an opportunity to enjoy a relaxing and enjoyable Easter experience.

Visit an Animal Nursery onsite. Yes, there will be real animals that the children will enjoy petting! Expect to see soft and cuddly favourites, such as guinea pigs, chickens, a very friendly sheep and of course bunnies!

Art and craft activities will be on offer in an Easter themed space for young artists, as well as glitter tattoos and face painting fun. Children will also go home with a sweet treat from the Easter Bunny!

In both the morning and afternoon session, families can get into the Easter holiday spirit, kick back and enjoy a full movie theatre experience with the Easter favourite ‘HOP’ screening at 10am and 2:30pm in the Burnie theatre, complete with free popcorn. Adults will be pleased to know a coffee vendor will be onsite.

Families are encouraged to book in for either a morning session, with doors open at 9am for a 10am start, or the afternoon session from 1:30pm until doors close at 4pm, to ensure the get a seat and Easter treat. Each session includes time for all the eggstravagant activities, the movie experience.
