Swan Street tram network upgrade

Yarra Trams is working with Public Transport Victoria to carry out essential maintenance and renewal works on a section of tram line on Swan Street. The works will ensure a safe and reliable tram service well into the future. 

Early works have begun on Swan Street between Stawell Street and Madden Grove. 

Major works will be carried out between Friday 11 February and Saturday 19 February. During the works:

Swan Street will be closed between Stanley and Stawell streets.   Wallen Road bridge will be closed from Friday 11 February to Monday 14 February. The intersection of Swan and Burnley streets will be closed from Monday 14 February to Saturday 19 February. The intersection of Swan and Church streets will remain open.
