As 2022 begins, Central Highlands Regional Council will be making some operational changes to adhere to state and federal government public health directions. These changes are due to social distancing requirements for staff and mask mandates.
Customer service centre lunch closures
Lunch closure times for some of council’s customer service centres have been updated to better align with other businesses.Capella 12.30 pm – 1.30 pmBlackwater 12.00 pm – 1.00 pmDuaringa 1.00 pm – 2.00 pmEmerald No lunch closure, will remain open for duration of business hoursSpringsure 1.00 pm – 2.00 pm

Masks are required to be worn in all indoor CHRC facilities including customer service centres, libraries and art galleries.
