The Office for Regional Youth is currently recruiting for next year’s Regional Youth Taskforce.

The Regional NSW Youth Taskforce is a Ministerial advisory group that advises the Minister for Regional Youth on issues that affect young people living in regional NSW. The Taskforce provides young people from all corners of rural and regional NSW with a unique opportunity to meet with government and inform decision making that will have flow-on benefits for their peers, communities and hometowns.

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST: TAXI SERVICE CONTRACT

Council is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for the provision of a Taxi Service in Grenfell.

Remuneration will be $750 per week (GST Exc), plus the Contractor will be entitled to all takings. In addition, Council will provide a vehicle and subsidise some operational costs.

EOIs will be received up until 5:00pm on Tuesday 30 November 2021.

BOGOLONG DAM PRECINCT MASTERPLAN

Council has engaged Civille Pty Ltd to develop a Masterplan for the Bogolong Dam Precinct that outlines the direction Council aims to take to improve and enhance this community space as a recreational tourist destination.

The Draft Masterplan is currently on display for comment and can be viewed on Council's Public Exhibition webpage http://www.weddin.nsw.gov.au/council/public-exhibition

Written submissions are invited and will be received by the undersigned up until 4:00pm on Wednesday, 15 December 2021.

Additionally, a public consultation session will be held at the Grenfell Hub on Wednesday, 1 December 2021 from 3:00pm - 5:00pm. Council Engineers and representatives from Civille Pty Ltd will be available during this time to discuss the Masterplan and answer any questions.

2022 AUSTRALIA DAY AWARDS

Interested persons and organisations are invited to make nominations for the 2022 Weddin Shire Australia Day Awards.

Categories are as follows:

Citizen of the Year Senior Citizen of the Year Community Event/Organisation of the Year Community Achievement Awards in any category

Nomination forms are available at Council’s Administration Office as well as on Council’s website www.weddin.nsw.gov.au/council/forms

Nominations will be received up until Friday 10 December 2021.

STREET STALLS 2022

Applications may now be lodged with the undersigned for allocations of dates for street stalls during 2022. It is anticipated that an allocation of dates will take place in late January 2022.

Applications will be received up until Thursday, 23 December 2021.
