PROPOSED REVIEW OF LOCAL LAWS

Pursuant to section 3.16 of the Local Government Act 1995 the Shire of Kent proposes to commence the review process to consider if the local laws should be repealed, left as is or amended. The following Local Laws are up for review and community comment on prospective changes is requested:

Activities on Thoroughfares and Trading in Thoroughfares and Public Places Local Law; Cemeteries Local Law; Dog Local Law Extractive Industries Local Law Fencing Local Law; Local Government Property Local Law; Pest Plants Local Law; and Standing Orders Local Law

A copy of the Local Laws can be found on the Shire of Kent website at https://www.kent.wa.gov.au/council/local-laws/ or can be inspected or obtained at the Shire of Kent Administration Office.

Submissions regarding the Local Laws may be made to the Shire prior to 4pm, 12 November 2021.
