Last days to have your say on former CSIRO site

Consultation is closing soon on the proposed Development Plan for a new residential precinct for the former CSIRO site in Highett and we want your feedback.

The Development Plan proposes development that will range from 2 to 7 storeys and feature open space and new community facilities.

This consultation process is your opportunity to comment on the future use and development of the site.

Once a development plan is approved for this site, due to the provisions of the Bayside Planning Scheme, future planning processes would not include opportunities for community feedback.

Please provide your feedback on the proposed Development Plan before the consultation period closes midnight 19 September 2021.

Council’s Have Your Say website will be offline for up to one hour on Sunday 19 September 2021 between 9am and 12pm. This is for essential maintenance, which has been scheduled and is being conducted by the service provider and unfortunately Council has no control of the timing. Community members wishing to provide their written statement while the site is offline can email the statement to planningstrategy [at] bayside.vic.gov.au.
