NON-essential public facing services will resume on Wednesday 15 September

As previously advertised Council operations are planned to be scaled back this Monday and Tuesday 13 and 14 September to facilitate an all staff and Councillor collaboration called a World Cafe. As this coincides with the easing of restrictions in the Armidale Regional LGA, Council’s non-essential face to face services will resume on Wednesday 15 September.

Non-essential community facilities that will remain closed and reopen on Wednesday 15 September include (With some exceptions):

Armidale and Guyra Libraries PLEAE NOTE – Returns chutes will be open from tomorrow morning.

Armidale and Guyra Civic Administration Buildings

Kent and Hughes House

Home Support Services Guyra (Nicolli House)

Council managed halls including the Armidale Town Hall

The community is reminded of our wide range of online services available via the Self Service tab on our website. Our Customer Service team will still be available via 1300 136 833 to answer any queries you may have about Council's services.

Waste Management Facilities Waste facilities in Armidale and Guyra will have limited opening and will continue to operate as they have been during the lockdown.

Armidale Folk Museum Will remain closed all next week - Staff available by phone if required. Visits can be arranged by appointment.

Armidale Visitors Information Centre Will remain closed all next week.

Guyra Pre-School and Long Day Care Centre Preschool will open and welcome back all children Monday morning.
