The NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service (NPWS) will be conducting a Sodium Flouroacetate (1080) ground baiting program for the management of foxes within Yanga National Park, Yanga Nature Reserve and Yanga State Conversation Area.

The scheduled period for this activity is between the 1 Sept – 30 Sept 2021 (inclusive).

Warning: Domestic animals may be affected if they consume 1080 baits (1080 is lethal to cats and dogs). Please be reminded that domestic pets are not permitted on NPWS Estate. Pets and working dogs must be restrained or muzzled in the vicinity and must not enter the baiting location. In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.

NPWS is undertaking the management of foxes to protect the biodiversity values of these conservation areas. No visitor facilities or access will be affected by this activity.

This program will be run in co-operation with the Murray Local Land Services.
