Council to upgrade vehicles and equipment MEDIA RELEASE

Council will spend $4.25 million to replace ageing and out-dated vehicles and equipment this financial year.

The Fleet Replacement Program aims to decrease repair costs and downtime, while providing Council with fit-for-purpose vehicles and plant equipment.

Council’s fleet consists of over 700 assets, which includes passenger and light commercials vehicles, trucks, heavy plant, mowers and trailers, with a combined replacement value of more than $50 million.
