Flavours of Auburn - Egyptian Cuisine - 24 September 2021

Cumberland City Council invites you to experience Egyptian culture and cuisine in this unique hands-on cooking class, where our local community cook will share with you her culture and favourite recipes. During the class, you will help with the preparation of the dishes and enjoy a delicious meal at the end. Classes take place in a small group and can cater for dietary requirements. All ingredients and drinks are included.

This event is part of the Flavours of Auburn project and is hosted by the Auburn Small Community Organisation Network (ASCON), an organisation that supports small and emerging communities in Auburn. All Flavours of Auburn Cooking Classes comply to current NSW Government COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions. If you are feeling unwell or displaying any symptoms, do not attend the class. Participants will be informed of any changes to the program as they occur.

Ticket Types:

The following tickets are available for purchase:

•General admission $80

•Tickets for people living in the Cumberland Council Area $60. Please use promotional code 'CumberlandResident' to access this ticket. (A valid proof of your residential address need to be presented at the Flavours of Auburn program)

•Concession/Student ticket for $50. Please use the promotional code "Concession" to access this ticket. (A valid proof of your concession or fulltime student status need to be presented at the Flavours of Auburn program).

Refund/Cancellation Policy: Refunds can be issued only if cancellations/registration changes are made 5 business days prior to the class. The class is transferrable to another person and participants can send someone to take their place. To do so, send an email to [email protected] or call 8757 9796.

If a cooking class is cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions applied to NSW or any other reasons outside of the control of the event organisers, a full refund will be provided.
