Stage A of the Penguin Foreshore Remediation and Upgrade Project construction is progressing and all facets of the site are actively busy. The main pathway continues to be built from Penguin Creek including the upgrading of the new beach accesses. Installation of the main verti-block wall has commenced adjacent to the foreshore playground, including a new ramp access. The main rock revetment wall is nearly completed and the kerb and channel have just started along Surf Club Road. Please see aerial pictures below, taken on 27 February.

As an update for Stage B of the Penguin Foreshore Remediation and Upgrade project, the Council has now submitted the complete development application and Planning Permit for Crown Consent for the construction of Stage B to both Property Services (formerly Crown Land) and the Department of State Growth. Once this has been received, the Planning Permit will be submitted and the advertising period will begin for public comment.

The Stage B design is available to download below.
