Upcoming resurfacing works on the Ridgley Highway

The Department of State Growth will carry out work, which includes spray sealing, microsurfacing and line marking at the site locations listed below.

Spray Sealing

Both lanes between Mooreville Road and Emu Vale Road for a 500m section of road; Both lanes between Metaira Road and Mooreville Road for a 100m section of road; Both lanes between Wilson Street and West Ridgley Road for a 300m section of road; Both lanes between Highclere Road and West Ridgley Road for a 300m section of road; Both lanes between Highclere Road and Menne Road for a 200m section of road; Both lanes between Kingsclere Road and Neena Road for a 800m section of road; and Both lanes along sections of the Ridgley Highway between Upper Natone Road and Murchison Highway for varied lengths of road.

Microsurfacing

Both lanes between Oonah Road and Pet Road for a 500m section of road Both lanes between Oonah Road and Meene Road for a 130m section of road; Both lanes between West Mooreville Road and Metaira Road for a 300m section of road; and Both lanes between West Mooreville Road and West Ridgley Road for a 300m section of road.

Works will occur between 7.30am and 4.30pm from Wednesday, 10 March 2021 to Wednesday, 24 March 2021 and expect to complete the work in 2 weeks, weather permitting.

How will the work affect you? The works involve the use of machinery which generates some noise.

Traffic changes There will be some temporary traffic changes to ensure the safety of workers and road users.

Lane closures and a reduced speed limit will be in place during work hours and may affect travel times. Motorists should allow up to 15 minutes extra travel time during this work. Please keep to speed limits and follow the directions of traffic controllers and signs.
