News Onslow domestic bin collection moved to Thursday 4 February Feb 01 2021 Onslow remains on BLUE ALERT as the tropical low tracks near the coast but a tropical cyclone is now not expected to form until Tuesday off the far west Pilbara coast. We have made changes to domestic bin collection due to capacity issues and collection will now take place on Thursday 4 February. Please ensure your bins are placed in a safe place during the cyclone and not left out the front of the verge until Thursday. Our waste facility is open with an increase in volume being experienced. Thank you to the community for tidying up around their properties. Bureau of Meteorology is predicting rainfall of 40mls to 150mls and 200mls in isolated pockets. This will likely impact the Great Northern Highway and we are expecting surface flooding to occur in Onslow. Gales with gusts to 100 km/h may develop in coastal areas between Mardie and Ningaloo including Onslow and Exmouth during Tuesday. More news articles
