2020 Moree Plains Shire Christmas Light Competition Winners

Winners of the 2020 Moree Plains Shire Christmas Light Competition collected their prizes this afternoon from the Moree Plains Shire Council offices.

The winners were announced last week over the Moree Thumbs Up Thumbs Down Facebook Group, with the prizes awarded to:

Each lucky winner received a love local gift card kindly donated by Moree Plains Shire Council and a certificate recognising their achievement.

This year a new category, ‘best decorated street’, was also included in the competition with the award taken out by Paramellowa Street in Pallamallawa. 

To celebrate the streets effort, Paramellowa Street will have a street sign, "Best Christmas Lights 2020", installed to their existing street pole.
