$50.00 Discount Cat De-sexing Program for Health-Care Card Holders and Pensioners

Lithgow ‘Operation Cat’, a partnership program between the Cat Protection Society NSW, Lithgow City Council and local veterinary services, is now running in its third year.

Lithgow City Council Mayor Ray Thompson said, “This is a great opportunity for residents within the Lithgow Local Government Area to take advantage of discounted de-sexing. It’s important to remember that kittens can have kittens.”

There are limited spots available so register your interest as soon as possible to secure a place. The cost is $50.00 to de-sex and micro-chip each cat. The program will run to 29th December 2021 or until all funding is spent.

To get involved call the Cat Protection Society of NSW on (02) 9519 7201 Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm to select a vet and make payment to secure your place.
