Australia Day Awards 2021
Sorell Council 28 Oct 2020
Nominations in our Australia Day Awards for 2021 are now OPEN!

The Australia Day Awards are part of a group of awards coordinated through the National Australia Day Council and administered by local Councils throughout Australia.  These awards are the highest honour a Council can bestow on an individual or group for outstanding contributions to their local community.

Award categories are:

Citizen of the Year Young Citizen of the Year (aged 27 years and under) Community Group of the Year

*Please note: Due to COVID-19 there will be no Community Event of the Year Award category for 2021.

We have many people living in our community doing wonderful things, but we can only recognise them if you nominate them!

We encourage nominations for any individual or group who have achieved something special in the past twelve months or who make an ongoing contribution to our community.

Nominations close at 5.00pm on Friday 15 January 2021.
