Following a recommendation from Interim Administrator Viv May for additional time to address the issues currently affecting the running of Council Minster for Local Government Shelley Hancock today announced a three month extension.

The additional time under administration will allow further review of processes in the day-to-day management and governance of Council.

Acting General Manager John Rayner said it was essential that we spend the next three months restoring effective management of Council.

“My role as Acting General Manager is to guide the organisation through this period and provide some stability to ensure a solid platform is in place for the new general manager.”
