News Tom Price Pump Track community feedback Aug 11 2020 Community members are invited to provide input and feedback on the proposed Tom Price Pump Track development. Your feedback will assist us understand what the community expects from this exciting project and will enable us to proceed with a formal tender request for the design and construction of the pump track. Design and construction is estimated to cost $900,000 and features may include: a purpose built pump track that can be utilised by a variety of users including bikes, skate boards and scooters a learn to ride track which is designed for the younger members of the community. This facility will provide a safe and educational space to learn new skills. The project is scheduled to commence early 2021 on Lots 332, 331 and Lot 3001 on the corner of North and Central Roads. Noise and dust controls during construction will be included in the works contract and be monitored regularly by Shire of Ashburton staff to minimise disruption to residents.
