Council is currently inviting a number of Tenders and Quotations detailed below:

T5/2020: Grenfell Main Street Renewal

Council is inviting Tenders from suitable contractors for the construction of Civil

Infrastructure and Landscaping for the renewal and beautification of Main Street, Burrangong

Street and Forbes Street, Grenfell.

Submissions will be received up until 12:00pm on Friday, 17 July 2020.

Submissions must be set out and lodged in accordance with the relevant documentation. The lowest or any Tender/Quotation will not necessarily be accepted.

DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL: DA 39/2020

Council has received an Application Shed with Amenities over LOT: 8 SEC: E DP: 6279 17 Northcote Street GREENETHORPE 2809.

Inspection:      The application DA 39/2020 for Shed with Amenities may be viewed between the hours of 9.00 am to 4.00 pm from 10 July 2020 and 29 July 2020 at the Council’s Office, Camp Street, Grenfell.

Submissions:   Any person may make a submission in writing to the Consent Authority within the advertised period.  Submissions objecting to the development are required to specify the grounds for objection.

Written submissions are to be received at Council by 4.00 pm on 29 July 2020.

Weddin Landcare are seeking volunteers to help with a rubbish clean up at Vaughn's Dam Reserve in Grenfell.

CTW Media Release - Water Restrictions to be eased from 6 July 2020

The General Manager of Central Tablelands Water (CTW), Gavin Rhodes, has advised that the Council of CTW resolved at an extraordinary meeting on Tuesday 30 June to ease water restrictions for the entire CTW supply network from Level 5 to Level 4 commencing Monday 6 July 2020 due to the recent inflows in the Lake Rowlands catchment.

Level 4 restrictions consists of the watering of gardens on Wednesdays and Sundays only, between 7am and 9am or 4pm and 6pm for a maximum of 1 hour in total during those allocated days. Watering of lawns is not permitted. All information pertaining to the requirements of Level 4 Water Restrictions is available on CTW’s website at www.ctw.nsw.gov.au or by contacting the CTW administration office on 02 6391 7200.

CTW will continue to closely monitor the level of Lake Rowlands and Bureau of Meteorology’s climate outlook prior to recommending any further changes to the restriction level.

Level 4 water restrictions for the entire CTW supply network will come into effect from Monday 6 July 2020.
