With new restrictions in force for metropolitan Melbourne, it's important to remember that coronavirus remains a serious risk for every Victorian. Health restrictions still apply in the Borough, including:

maintaining a distance of at least 1.5m from other people, including friends and family not having more than five visitors to your home at any time avoiding crowds and large public gatherings getting tested if you have any coronavirus symptoms, however mild.

If your primary residence is in Melbourne, you cannot travel to the Borough for a holiday or visit – even if you own a holiday home. We're looking forward to welcoming you back in the future, but for now, please keep our community safe and avoid a fine by staying at home.

Avoiding heavier restrictions in the Borough requires all of us to be alert and follow these health directives. With your help, we can keep our community safe from coronavirus.

Contact the Department of Health and Human Services for more information. Breaches can be reported to Victoria Police on 131 444.
