Council understands that this is a difficult and unprecedented time for our business community. Below is a list summary of business support resources currently available.

As restrictions continue to ease, some business support is ending. Please check the closing dates on the relevant websites.

There are also a range of resources to help businesses re-open and operate safely.

North Sydney Council

To support local businesses and community groups impacted by the Federal and State Government response to COVID-19, Council introduced a policy on 25 March 2020 detailing support and/or waivers of fees or charges, particularly for those impacted by enforced closures.

Following the NSW Government's decision to ease certain business restrictions from 1 June 2020, businesses will be required to recommence full lease or licence payments to Council by 1 August 2020.

Similarly, with the easing of restrictions on community sporting activities from 1 July 2020, the waiving of ground hire fees for not for profit community sporting clubs will end on 1 September 2020.
