Plenty to see and do these school holidays

From visiting Wodonga's pump track to using your creative side to recreate Roald Dahl book covers, there's something for kids of all ages these winter school holidays.

The Birallee pump track is in the south-west corner of the park. The track was included to enhance the quality of the informal recreational opportunities in the precinct and complements the nearby BMX track.

Both the Birallee and Henry Nowik Park pump tracks are open for users.

Wodonga also has two public skate parks in operation - James Scott Memorial Skate Park and the Baranduda Bowl.

Music enthusiasts can tune into Stream Jam North East Music Festival on June 26 and 27, an online mini-festival and gathering space, where artists from the North East Region of Victoria play 20-minute sets streamed live via their selected social media accounts.

Wodonga Library has an online challenge for families these school holidays.

Use your book knowledge, your artistic skills and some imaginative play to recreate the covers of popular titles by Roald Dahl.

Over the next few weeks, Wodonga Library will upload on Facebook some featured book covers (plus some inspiration photos) and then it will be your turn.

Upload your interpretation of the cover as a Facebook comment, email it through or show staff on your next library visit.

Library staff have giveaways for their favourite designs.

Be inspired by history and culture these school holidays and visit Bonegilla Migrant Experience where there's plenty to see and do including the Kitchenalia and Nonne exhibition.

On a rainy day, it's especially nice to pick up a book to read while listening to the rain on the roof.

Did you know Wodonga Library has reopened? 

A Click and Collect service is available – Borrowing will be available through holds pick up only. Members with items previously on hold will be notified again that there are items available for them.

Placing holds - New items can be requested online through the website with a current library membership. Currently holds can only be placed on items belonging to Wodonga Library. You will be notified when your requested items are ready for collection.

Item collection will be available between 10am to 6pm weekdays and 9pm to 12pm on Saturdays.

The library will be observing physical distancing and limiting the number of people in the space.
