Barossa, it's time to have your say

Council is pleased to have recently launched a new online engagement platform, Your Say Barossa.

The engagement platform will enable community to easily connect with Council and have a say on matters affecting the region from how rates are spent to local infrastructure projects and much, much more.

Engaging online enables more community members to have a say and get involved in shaping the future of the region by allowing contribution at a time and place that suits them.

The online engagement hub is equipped with a range of interactive tools which can be tailored to best suit the type of consultation and the communication style of the target audience.

"Council is committed to promoting greater community engagement and want to know how key issues affect residents. Your views help Council make more informed decisions so we can shape our future together - we want you to be part of conversations about your Barossa.” said Mayor Bim Lange.

Council has launched Your Say Barossa with two engagements – the draft Mobile Food Vendor Policy and Location Rules, which sets out where and when mobile food vendors can operate along with what permit fees apply, and the Draft Annual Budget and Business Plan 2020-21, which contains Council’s statement of intended programs and outcomes for the coming financial year.

As community engagement is highly valued Council is offering the opportunity to win one of five $50 Co-Op gift vouchers to community members who register to share their views on Your Say Barossa.
