Welcoming new members to our diverse youth team

This morning we welcomed Thomas Hicks as one of our 4 new Youth Councillors to the team. More to come! The Youth Council exists primarily for the following functions:
To provide young people in the Barkly region a voice to discuss issues relevant to themTo inform Council of issues and initiativesTo promote the social and professional development of young people in the Barkly regionWe support giving young people a voice in the Barkly Region to ensure we are considering their issues, passions and concerns when making key council decisions.
