Barossa response - COVID-19 - 28 May update

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is a constantly evolving situation and we will continue to keep the community updated in regards to its impact locally. Regular updates can be found on our facebook page

The South Australian Premier announced further easing of restrictions from 1 June and Council is working through what these changes mean for a wide range of users. 

Clubrooms, halls and men's sheds - Council will provide access immediately for step 1 restrictions up to 1 June 2020 to clubrooms, halls and men's sheds which allows access for up to 10 people and thereafter compliance with step 2 restrictions on condition groups have returned the paperwork provided by Council. Council is corresponding directly with user groups, with further information to be made publicly available as soon as possible.

The Rex gym and pools - Council is preparing for a safe reopening of the Rex gym (5 June) and pools (9 June) but if these targets are not achievable, no later than 12 June.

Barossa Regional Gallery - timeframes for reopening are currently being assessed with risk assessments underway.
