Barossa response - COVID-19 - 5 June update

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is a constantly evolving situation and we will continue to keep the community updated in regards to its impact locally. Regular updates can be found on our facebook page

The South Australian Premier announced further easing of restrictions from 1 June and Council is working through what these changes mean for a wide range of users. Please refer to our Service Provision Fact Sheet below for detailed information about our facilities.

Clubrooms, halls and men's sheds - Access as per Step 2 of the South Australian Roadmap to Recovery on condition groups have returned the paperwork provided by Council. Council is corresponding directly with user groups.

The Rex gym and pools - The Rex gym facilities (24-7) reopening from Friday, 5 June. The Rex aquatic facilties reopening from Tuesday, 9 June in a reduced and staged capacity. The Leisure Pool will be fully operational including Learn to Swim programs. The Lap Pool remains closed to facilitate retiling, with a reopening date to be advised, anticipated in July. There are extensive restrictions on numbers and spectators and the use of showers and change rooms is prohibited. 

Barossa Regional Gallery - timeframes for reopening are currently being assessed with risk assessments underway.
