IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Currently the Shire of Chapman Valley intends to keep its front of house services available to the community during the COVID-19 pandemic for as long as possible.

To achieve this, we are asking our residents to comply with the ‘physical distancing restrictions’ imposed by the Federal Government & to limit visits into the Shire Office by utilising electronic transaction formats as much as possible.

We would like to remind you:

  We understand it isn’t always possible to avoid face to face transactions with the Shire yet encourage you to keep these to a minimum.

Facility Closures

With immediate effect, until further notice the following facilities are now closed:

All venue hires of Community Centres & Public Halls All hire and/or events using Shire facilities (ie:Nanson Showgrounds, Nabawa Oval, Golf & Tennis Clubs) Nabawa and Yuna Libraries

  With effect from Friday 27th of March 2020 the following facilities will be closed to camping:

Coronation Camp Grounds Fig Tree Crossing Overnight Camping

Day visits to Coronation Beach is still currently permitted, yet may be subject to closure in the future. Such visits must be conducted in accordance with the  public gathering guidelines as set down by the Federal and State Governments.
