Barossa is Open for Business

As of Thursday 19 March, the Barossa Visitor Centre has reduced its face-to-face tourism services by providing those services through the ‘barn’ window where social distancing can be controlled and hygiene practices will be in place. Online and phone services are being ramped up and staff will continue to service visitors, work on projects, develop new ideas, products and plan for recovery.

Many tourism related businesses are already suffering as a result of Covid-19. With the announcement of further restrictions and measures by government be reassured that The Barossa Council will continue its longstanding investment in the tourism sector and will continue to promote tourism in the region using our resources in a variety of different ways with increased focus on online and support services as face-to-face services become more challenging, but will continue through a managed approach to maintain a safe environment.

Council's Tourism Services team will be working closely alongside Tourism Barossa and Barossa Grape and Wine Association during this difficult time as well as during planning for recovery.
