All welcome to community workshops about Warragul parking

Published on 11 March 2020

Four open community workshops will take place over March and April to discuss options for the future of carparking in the Warragul CBD.

Known as the Warragul Parking Study, Council is undertaking a thorough community engagement process to improve car parking in Warragul. The requirement for additional parking is not being questioned, but rather how parking can be improved in ways that are practical, financially viable and in line with community preferences.

The workshops are open to all community members and groups interested in getting involved in the project.

Each workshop will provide an informative and collaborative platform for community members to learn more about the project, ask questions and submit feedback.

The first of four open community workshops will take place next week to discuss carparking in the Warragul CBD. Seating is limited so RSVP is essential for each session.

“These four community workshops will be a great platform to openly discuss the key options up for consideration regarding parking in the Warragul CBD. There will be plenty of time for questions and a chance to provide feedback too. We need to hear from as many residents as possible to ensure the community’s preferred way forward is clear, so come along and get involved in the conversation Baw Baw.”
