Coronavirus advice No. 6 - Customer Service Centre closure MEDIA RELEASE

Council’s Customer Service Centre at Spence Street will close at 4.30pm today (Wednesday 25 March 2020).

This decision follows the Prime Minister’s advice last night for people to stay home except for essential trips.

Residents can go to the Council website (www.cairns.qld.gov.au) to access a full range of services, including:

Payment of billsRenewing registrationsPayment of finesReporting a problemMaking applications

Payments by MasterCard and Visa Card can be made conveniently and securely via the Online Self Service payment page on Council’s website.

Those aged persons having trouble navigating online services, can call Council’s Customer Service Centre on 1300 692 247 for assistance.

Residents are also encouraged to download the My Cairns app, free of charge, which allows users to report a problem.
