To keep our community up to date with key Council decisions, outcomes and plans; here is a snapshot summary from Council’s Wednesday 26 February 2020 ordinary meeting.

Vibrant communities Council received the proposed Warragul Parking Study Community Engagement Plan which includes a multideck feasibility report. Safe and Sustainable Environments Council accepted the tender submitted by Downer EDI Works Pty Ltd for the Road Maintenance Contract for the per annum sum of $8,063,139 for the contract period of five years. See the full details at Reforming road maintenance with new $8 million contract. Council received the year three progress report on the Domestic Wastewater Management Plan. Council agreed to join the Cities Power Partnership Program. Organisational Excellence Council received the Differential Rating Review report for Urban Growth Zone properties which responds to a General Business Motion of 9 October 2019 and notes the rating scenarios be included in the Section 223 public consultation as part of the 2020/21 Annual Budget process. Council received the Q2 2019/20 Quarterly Performance Report and Mid Year Budget Review. Council appointed Mr Mark Dupe Interim Chief Executive Officer effective 13 March 2020 following the resignation of Ms Alison Leighton. What's next?
