Free Water From Tanker, Clermont

Council is committed to keeping community informed in relation to water discolouration in Clermont as new information becomes available.

Status of the Water Treatment Process The changes made to the treatment process have resulted in clear water being produced overnight and this morning.

The production rate of clean water is being increased to fill reservoirs so that we can undertake flushing of water mains this afternoon and into tonight.

The community is reminded of the need to flush the last of the discoloured water from house services later this evening.

Clean Water available from Tanker at Hoods Lagoon, Clermont Council advises residents in Clermont who are still experiencing discolouration that we have made available water from a bulk tanker stationed at Hoods Lagoon from: 2.30pm-7pm Today, Wednesday February 26, 2020 We encourage residents to bring containers or buckets and take as much water as they would like. Council will review the need for this service as required.

Cleaning Stained Laundry Residents are reminded that council has made Citric Acid available at the Council Offices corner Karmoo and Daintree Street Clermont.

Council staff will be working throughout the night to flush the mains. Please contact council if you continue to experience discolouration after 6am tomorrow (Thursday, 27 February) morning so we can prioritise additional mains flushing.
