Our Vacancy

Mareeba Shire Council has an exciting opportunity for a Community Wellbeing Administration & Support Officer to join and support our Community Wellbeing team. The successful applicant will provide administrative, system and technical support to the team to assist with the delivery of a range of services and projects.

This will include managing the section’s workflow systems, conducting preliminary research for reports and projects, providing secretariat support to several committees and groups, assisting with the administration and coordination of grants and providing other administrative support to the group as required.

The Community Wellbeing Administration & Support Officer will also assist with the administration for the Regional Arts Development Fund program (RADF) and Community Partnerships Program (CPP) by following program guidelines, budgets and performing basic financial and administration tasks to support the grants programs.

The successful candidate will have excellent computer and organisational skills, be able to work autonomously and as part of a team, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be proficient in the use of records and financial management systems.

Benefits of this position

Permanent, full-time position Commencing at LGOA Level 2 – $2,237.64 per fortnight Mareeba Allowance – $55.50 per fortnight Up to 12% superannuation One Rostered Day Off every month 5 weeks annual leave
