Are you a young woman aged between 15 and 30 who is thinking about starting up a business but don’t know where to start?

The Wollondilly Youth Advisory Committee and Wollondilly Library are facilitating a ‘Young Women in Business’ event on Saturday 7 March for young women aged between 15 and 30.

The day will commence with a breakfast meeting followed by a series of workshops run by local businesswomen.

Workshops will include how to develop a business plan and budget and how to successfully launch, promote and grow your business.

The event aims to provide young women with the skills and inspiration to start their own business and develop professional networking and mentoring relationships with other women from the business community.

Wollondilly Mayor Matthew Deeth said: “Wollondilly Council is committed to supporting local business and hope to provide valuable information to young women who are thinking of starting up their own enterprise”
