MEDIA RELEASE 24 January 2020

Suttor, Mitre, Lambert Street Roundabout

Due to the Mitre, Suttor, Lambert Street roundabout construction, there will be changed traffic conditions in the area.

The bus interchange will be relocated to the front of Assumption Church and there will be changes to school drop-off and pick-up zones.

The intersection will remain open under traffic control; however, delays are expected with reduced speed limits. Please allow extra time for school drop off and pick up.

For the latest project information visit the Bathurst YourSay website or if you prefer to talk to someone, please call 6333 6100.

Parking in school zones

The commencement of the school term is almost here and its appropriate to remind parents and caregivers that if they breach parking regulations in a school zone, they are risking a big fine and possible loss of points from their drivers' licence.

Disobeying parking restrictions around schools puts the safety of children at risk.

Rangers will be monitoring parking at our schools once the school term commences.
