School holiday fun
City of Wodonga 15 Jan 2020

With smoke from bushfires lingering, we have some ideas to keep the kids entertained indoors during the school holidays.

If you are looking for something creative for the kids these school holidays, bring them down to Wodonga Plaza on Thursday, January 16.

They can get crafty as the NGV - Kids on Tour heads to Wodonga.

This free event will run from 11am to 1pm.

To keep your kids engaged for long periods of time, have your kids join Wodonga Library's Summer Reading Club.

Pop into the library to get the kids their Summer Reading Challenge kit and they can read their way through the holidays.

For those into art, come along to one of the activities organised as part of the Summer Reading Club - A Roomful of Stories - Dreamtime stories school holiday art workshop on Monday, January 20.

All ages welcome. Please bring a water bottle and hat.

The workshop will be held at the Burraja Cultural Centre on Gateway Island, Wodonga from 9.30am to 10.30am.

Book online at https://wl2020_dreamtime.eventbrite.com.au

The Summer Reading Club will culminate with a Wrap Party on Thursday, January 23 from 4pm to 6pm.

The event will wrap up a fun summer of reading challenges and cultural stories with a party like no other.

Join us for an afternoon of music, games, ice cream and prize giveaways.
