Avon Park Redevelopment

The Avon Park and Skate Park tenders for the Avon Park redevelopment project were considered by Council at the December Ordinary Council meeting and Phase 3 Constructions is the preferred Contractor for both projects.

Avon Park is now closed to the public and demolition of the internal roads and carparks has commenced. The toilet block will be closed from 9 January 2020 as the demolition works progress. Alternative facilities are available for public use behind the York Courthouse Complex.

At this stage it is anticipated that Phase 3 will be on-site late January/early February to begin construction.
