Saturday, January 4, 2020, 5:30 – 10pm In celebration of Music By The Sea, Council will be projecting Ellie Malin’s artwork Old City III onto the William Jolly Bridge from 2–6 January 2020, from 5:30–10pm each night. Ellie Malin is an early career artist Melbourne based artist working in relief woodblock printing. Ellie Malin’s works are bustling fields of shape and colour, inspired by architectural and environmental landscapes. Her process-driven layered work is driven by her desire to resolve visual problems through formal solutions. Music By The Sea began in 1997 and is a monthly music concert happening in Sandgate. Music By The Sea believes that art is essential for the wellbeing of the community. Music By The Sea is supported by Council’s Suburban Community Festivals Program.
