Council Works Update

Current and soon to be commenced Council works and projects as at 1 May 2020:

 Dodges Ferry Jetty Replacement – Work on the replacement is complete.

Primrose Sands Boat Ramp Toilets – The 14 day public advertising period is over. The Development Application is currently being assessed and will go to a forthcoming Council meeting in the form of an agenda report together with the recommendation of the planning staff for the determination of Council as the Planning Authority.

Gypsy Bay Boat Ramp dredging –The 14 day public advertising period is over. The Development Application is currently being assessed and will go to a forthcoming Council meeting in the form of an agenda report together with the recommendation of the planning staff for the determination of Council as the Planning Authority. The Development Application has also been lodged with Crown Land Services.

Urban Street Sealing Program – Parmere Street will be upgraded from gravel to a sealed standard with associated drainage works. Work is nearing completion. 

Levelling the Playing Field unisex Change rooms –The tender has been awarded and construction is expected to start onsite in the coming weeks.

Forcett Street footpath – The footpath renewal for Forcett Street between Nash Street and Dodges Court is complete.

Pembroke Park – a scoreboard will be installed on the back oval in the coming weeks.

Marion Bay Road – Road repair works are ongoing.

Stormwater works in Primrose Sands – Carlton Bluff Road, outfall and  instillation of pit, pipe and headwall in Susansa Bay Road.
