Temporary Closure of Capertee Landfill

Lithgow City Council wishes to advise the temporary closure of Capertee Landfill on Thursday 21st November 2019 to allow earthworks to take place safely.

The temporary closure is necessary to allow the safe use of large machinery to create new green waste stockpile areas.

Residents affected may use either the Cullen Bullen Landfill, Portland Landfill or the Lithgow Solid Waste Facility on the day of the scheduled closure to ensure there is minimal inconvenience.
