Now in its third year, the WYNnovation Festival 2020 is a fantastic opportunity for businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs to learn, network and be inspired by renowned thought leaders.

Throughout February 2020, attendees who come along to WYNnovation events will have the opportunity to network with peers, as well hearing first hand from some of the most inspiring and renowned thought leaders in Australia.

There’s also the inaugural WYNnovation Pitch Competition with $7,000 in prize money up for grabs for Wyndham businesses, start-ups, students and residents that successfully pitch a great business or product idea.

Future Focused Economy portfolio holder, Cr Walter Villagonzalo said the WYNnovation Festival 2020 is the must do business event in Wyndham.

“The WYNnovation Festival honours our commitment to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in Wyndham to help build a robust local economy now and into the future,” Cr Villagonzalo said.

“Headlining WYNnovation 2020 is The Summit on 7th February 2020, featuring keynote speakers Janine Allis – founder of Boost Juice, trend forecaster and author Michael McQueen and co-founder of Four Pillars Gin Matt Jones.”

“Another great event is the Masterclass facilitated by Brad Howarth – technology, marketing and digital media authority. There’s also a luncheon at Shadowfax Winery hosted by the Committee for Wyndham with keynote speaker Mark Williams, former AFL player and premiership coach.”

“Whether you are attending all events on the calendar or just one, be sure to take advantage of the early bird ticket offer for the Summit and Masterclass by securing your place by 20th December, 2019.”

“We’re calling all Wyndham businesses, start-ups, students and residents that have a great business or product idea to enter the inaugural WYNnovation Pitch Competition, which is proudly funded by Small Business Victoria.”

“You might be a business start-up with a great idea, an existing business seeking to commercialise a new product or a budding entrepreneur with a new idea.”

“All you need to do is pitch your idea in a short video. A panel will then select participants to attend four workshop sessions and then a shortlisted group will be given the opportunity to participate in the Pitch Competition.”

“I’m looking forward to the Pitch Competition – Wyndham’s very own Shark Tank.”
