Back by popular demand, the spring edition of South West Sydney’s boldest food festival, Liverpool on a Roll, had all the right ingredients to make it a recipe for success.

That’s the message from Liverpool Mayor Wendy Waller, who said Liverpool City Council’s second Liverpool on a Roll celebration for the year had something for everyone.

“It was great to soak up the atmosphere of Liverpool on a Roll for the second time this year,” Mayor Waller said.

“Liverpool on a Roll is a fantastic celebration of South West Sydney’s vibrant multicultural community and a great way to bring the best in food to our suburbs.

“With delicious and affordable international cuisine for $12 or less, live music, a pop-up beer garden, garden games and the addition of the Willowdale Open-Air Arcade, our second edition of Liverpool on a Roll was a treat for locals and visitors to the city alike.”

Thousands of attendees flocked to the picturesque Greenway Park in West Hoxton on Saturday evening, complementing the success of the inaugural Liverpool on a Roll in late March.

“Liverpool is a cultural melting pot, with residents hailing from 150 different countries,” Mayor Waller said. “There’s no better way to celebrate this fantastic diversity than through food.”

“Council is delighted to have once again partnered with local restaurants to showcase a range of international flavours ‘on a roll’ and we are incredibly thankful to our event supporters for helping bring Liverpool on a Roll to life for a second time this year.

“I encourage attendees to visit listens.liverpool.nsw.gov.au to provide feedback that will allow us to continue delivering exceptional experiences in Liverpool and our suburbs.”

Event supporters included Stockland Willowdale (Diamond Sponsor), Network Ten (Exclusive TV Partner) and 2DayFM (Metro Radio Partner).
