We're looking for home maintenance contractors

Council is looking to establish a panel of paid Contractors to provide home and property maintenance services to Council’s Aged and Disability Services clients.

By improving and maintaining the safety of clients' properties we can enable them to remain living at home as independently as possible.

Service Specifications Home Maintenance tasks may include but are not limited to: Change of light globes and batteries for smoke alarms (provide own ladders with appropriate safety features) Changing of tap washers Minor home repairs Cleaning of spouting (provide own ladders with appropriate safety features) Cleaning of windows (inside and out, screens, includes de-cobwebbing) Cleaning of inside walls and or ceiling Generally speaking no visit should take longer than 3-4 hours; any exceptions must be discussed with the purchasing officer. Home Modifications tasks (as directed by an Allied Health Professional) may include but are not limited to: Installation of grab rails Installation of bannister rails Removal of shower doors/internal or external doors Installing hand held shower Installation of safety hinges Exit/entry ramps Garden Maintenance tasks: Pruning of shrubbery away from pathways and doorways Clearing debris from pathways and veranda by blower or broom Pressure washing footpaths Removal or rubbish and/or greenwaste Generally speaking no visit should take longer than 3-4 hours; any exceptions must be discussed with the purchasing officer.
